The Most Stately Homes In Billings, Montana
Investors and prospective homebuyers should take note: there’s a growing demand for stately residences in the real estate market. From quick move-in models to brand new homes, those with piqued interest might not consider Montana as a place for homes with elegant design. If you’re from out-of-state, you might immediately imagine rustic log cabins when you think of Montana homes’ style. And, while there are plenty of those, you might be surprised to know that you can own a regal-like home without the pretentious price tag. Our team here in Billings, MT (the largest urban municipality in Montana) builds homes any urbanite looking for a simpler life in Montana will love!
In this blog, we’ll take a look at some of our most popular floor plan models that represent the refined tastes of our homebuyers in 2021. So what if we’re not running any ballots this President’s Day — that doesn’t mean McCall Homes wouldn’t be a strong contender if the Billings real estate market were put to a vote.
What Makes a McCall Home Worthy of Sophisticated Buyers in Billings?

The Roosevelt: Inspired By History, Livable For Today
In December of 2020, McCall Homes released its annual Winter Floor Plan Feature, highlighting The Roosevelt home design. While this floor plan may not have any true historical ties to either presidential legacy (FDR or Teddy), it’s design was inspired by our nation’s notable architectural history.
Even as we move from winter to spring, we’re still inclined to call this particular floor plan one of our most stately contributions to new home design in the Billings region. Originally conceived of as a 4-bedroom, two-level residence, The Roosevelt can be adapted to accommodate as many as 5 or 6 bedrooms — even if you’re in need of two separate Master suites.
The entry-level of The Roosevelt is unique in its design and unlike many of our other more open floor plans. One of our favorite features is the rear-situated kitchen. You don’t have to be a politician to love having friends and family over for extravagant dinners and holiday parties, so we designed this home to make the preparation of a larger dining experience a bit more discreet. Thanks to the posterior placement of the kitchen and the utilitarian butler’s pantry, you can easily navigate between hosting and “ordering up” the hors d’oeuvres.
So if you’re seeking a flexibly-designed home that could make Eleanor herself a touch envious, you’re definitely the right type of resident for The Roosevelt. Learn more about this spacious and stately sanctuary by reading our full Winter Floor Plan Feature, or give us a call and we’ll give you a tour of any Roosevelt homes we have under construction.

More (P)residential Home Designs in Billings
- The Sundance — Single-Level Floor Plan With 3 Bedrooms — or 6, with basement finish
- The Mammoth — 4, 5, 6, Or 7 Bedrooms? Yes, it is as spacious as it sounds!
The Mammoth
With facades inspired by the Neo-Classical architecture of antebellum mansions or the Prairie style of Frank Lloyd Wright, the Mammoth still has immensely more to offer than what might initially meet the eye.
From the view of the curb, street, or porch, you’re unlikely to see the Mammoth as much more than a two-story home. However, walk through the front door, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised — if not supremely impressed — to find that its interior contains everything a growing family needs.
This four-square style home, features a different take on main-level living than The Roosevelt. It’s master suite spans from the front to the rear of the home creating a private sanctuary for the Mister and Misses. If your family needs extra space or more bedrooms, add a basement to this 4-bedroom home and you’ll be able to accommodate everyone with their own retreat.
The Mammoth is quickly becoming one of our more popular floorplans in Annafeld.
